Master of Arts Program

The MA program provides students the opportunity to research in areas such as; Old Testament, New Testament, Theology, History, and Philosophy of Religion. We also welcome applications from students who would like to pursue research in other areas related to Christianity. Our Faculty research areas and interests can be found on the Faculty page. Each student will complete six courses (18 credits), one of which will be Methodology, and a Thesis (12 credits) for a total of 30 credits needed to complete the program.

Our program focuses on Biblical and Christian Studies yet students in our program come from multiple religious and non-religious backgrounds and we welcome this diversity.

The program is accredited by the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada (AUCC) and the Canadian Association for Graduate Studies (CAGS).
